How your answers stay private

Sync Desires is built around one rule: you only see what you both chose to share. Here is how that works, step by step.

1. You answer on your own

Each partner answers the questions separately. Your partner cannot see your answers.

2. Only mutual matches are revealed

A match is shown to both of you only when you both answered yes to the same item. If one of you said yes and the other said no, that answer stays private to the person who gave it.

3. Full comparisons need both of you to agree

The side-by-side comparison in Premium is available only after both partners agree to see it. Either of you can withdraw that agreement, and the comparison then switches off for both.

4. Your answers are encrypted

Personal data, including names, email addresses and quiz answers, is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The site is served over HTTPS, and the database connection is encrypted in transit. Our full details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. You control your data

You can request deletion of your data at any time. Unpaid sessions with no activity are removed automatically after 90 days.

What Sync Desires is not

Sync Desires is a conversation tool. It is not a medical or psychological assessment, a diagnosis, or a prediction of how your relationship will go. Use a match as a prompt to talk, not as permission.
